SANGIOVESE GRAPE - Brunello di Montalcino

Very challenging year for the area.  Full bodied, tannicky and dry finish.  Has a 90+ rating by two of the big guys that know what the hell they are talking about and actually provide reviews, unlike this bullshit.  Hopefully, it gets better as it ages.  Either way, it's going down.

Full bodied with smooth rich tannins like it has been aging longer with a pleasing finish similar to a rub & tug massage.

Excellent, full bodied, slight tannins and a touch of acidity.  Buy enough to age for a few years and should improve very well and hopefully the opposite of Evel Knievel attempting to jump Snake River Canyon, fucking overhyped and disappointed.

As we all know, 2016 is one of the best Brunello vintages and this one is no exception.  Nice bold flavor with soft tannins and a long finish.  If you can locate for less than $40, dig the fucking coins from under the sofa cushions and buy.  You will not be disappointed.

Great rich color, fruit and oak aromas and flavor.  Long finish and slightly harsh by tannins.  Like the misbehaving child, put his ass in the corner for a while and he will get better.

One of the best vintages ever for Brunello so very difficult to fuck it up.  Dark, rich color, bold flavor with a small amount of  tannins but not too much.  This motherfucker will only get better if you keep your filthy hands off.

Medium to full bodied, aroma of berries with a hint of cedar.  Slight tannins and acidity, just enough to provide a bright, fresh finish.
