The wine comments are based on the combined feedback from myself and friends. Notice that I did not state wine reviews because none of us are qualified in any manner to review wine. The majority of wines currently listed are ones that I have at home. As with everyone else, we drink what we enjoy and pour the other shit down the drain or give to someone at the same level of friendship as the drain. We take turns cooking and drinking wine multiple times per month. There will be very few comments on overly expensive wine. If the wine is expensive, the shit better taste good so my fucking opinion is unnecessary. I know absolutely nothing about white wine except it is used to clean red wine out of the rug that some fucking imbecile spilled or to cool your balls in after a round of golf on a hot day.
I paid for the wine so I am fucking drinking it, which limits the amount of monthly comments.
I am all about the bargain and select the best for the money in wine, hookers and strippers. The bargains tend to work a little harder for the money.
Many people use the 6 S’s for wine tasting, which I have listed below along with comments.
1. See – I enjoy viewing the deep dark red wine
2. Swirl – to release and separate the various aromas
3. Sniff – to detect the aromas
4. Sip – I prefer a big gulp. If not appealing, I drink a couple of glasses of a different wine then finish this one after my fucking taste buds are numb.
5. Swish – the only fucking thing I am swishing is mouthwash
6. Swallow or Spit – The selection is easy for guys, e.g., do you prefer your chick to swallow or spit.
I tend to use the SAGS method; See, Aroma, Gulp and Swallow. Comments are based on CASTAB, which is Color, Acidity, Sweetness, Tannin, Alcohol and Body.
